UART Rx configuration

Hi guys

I'm trying to perform a serial communication among Simulink and dspic33F. When I generate a signal within the microcontroller I can view this signal in an other file using instrument control box library. But when I use the UART Rx block to catch the signals that is generated outside the microcontroller, the signal is simply zero viewed from the microcontroller.
I am using a embedded target for microchip dsPIC library. I'll send the two files I'm using to perform this.

Any help would be very grateful.
